Christine Petrane has lived in Montgomery for eight years and in Rocky Hill for eight years prior.  She has been very active in the Montgomery school district since her children started at Orchard Hill Elementary School. She is currently the co-president of the Montgomery Middle Schools Parent Teacher Organization and a Vice President of the Montgomery High School Parent Teacher Student Association. She served as past co-president of the Montgomery Elementary Schools Parent Teacher Organization from 2010-2013.  She has been a chair/co-chair of multiple school fundraising events such as Casino Night and Winter Carnival that have raised thousands of dollars to support Montgomery schools through teacher grant programs. She is also a current board member of Montgomery Basketball Association and Interfaith Hospitality Network of Somerset County.  She individually raised $5000 from local sports and school organizations to hire a nationally recognized speaker and author to address concerns about youth sports in the community.  She graduated from Villanova University with a BS in Education and a minor in English. She currently resides in Skillman with her husband Mike and her three children.
